I have experience teaching English to children and adults In Canada and overseas and am passionate about creative writing and reading. I have a Bachelors degree from the University of Victoria and have taught reading comprehension, creative writing, and academic writing to both children and adults. I teach the basics of English grammar, reading, sentence structure, editing, essay structure and more.

Aside from tutoring, I am currently completing a Fine Arts Studio program and reconnecting with my family and friends in Toronto. In my spare time I train in contemporary dance and go for hikes outside the city.

My approach to teaching is creative and engaging. I aim to teach through engaging the students' interests and allowing them to be part of directing their learning process.
