I have received my education from the University of California, San Diego. In addition to my master’s in education and a Bachelor degree in Pure Mathematics, I have also received a minor in Mathematics Education in which dives into the analysis of one huge math problems and how to dissect and understand the process of finding the various paths to the same solution. This analysis and understanding of math problems have shaped my pedagogy in integrating a higher level of critical thinking and justification for mathematics in my students.

I am now a doctorate student at Columbia University, where I am learning more about Math Education and how to better deliver a system of teaching so that all students can learn the rigors of mathematics and understand mathematics.

I am comfortable teaching any mathematical content from Kindergarten to High School. Calculus courses are tailored based on the syllabus and content of the student's university. Please be willing to put in extra hours when picking me as your tutor. Read less

Given the chance to experience curriculum design, learning and teaching Integrated Mathematics, and going to various professional developments, I have acquired a myriad of differentiated lessons that adapt, support and scaffold the concepts for students of various ability ranges.
