Darius has excelled academically in the top law school in Hong Kong with a top-class result. Having ranked first in cohort in contract law, Darius has achieved a high level of excellence in all commercial law subjects, including business associations and company law. He has had numerous experiences with teaching law students, both studying locally and overseas in eminent universities (including undergraduate and JD students), on substantive law and examination techniques, and more importantly, high-level thinking skills and ability to critique the law.

He has also experience in tutoring on Overseas Lawyers Qualification Examination. I would advise law students to think thoroughly about two questions whenever you are coming across any legal doctrine: (i) what IS the law and (ii) what should be the law. The first question is a descriptive one. You need to understand the current and past state of law, as well as the relations among the different cases and legislation. The second question is a normative one. You need to come up with how the law should develop given the legal development and the rationales behind. Read less
